Devcraft
A downloadable game for Windows
General
Devcraft is a Minecraft-inspired game that was made on December 10, 2023. It was originally based on a dormant project called HopsonCraft by Hopson97. Then it was based from Crumble by GamesWithGabe. It was first uploaded on GitHub, but now it has come to itch.io!
Latest stable release: Devcraft v1.8

Devcraft is available on itch.io, but it is also available on GitHub if you prefer to download from there. DISCLAIMER: NEW RELEASES WILL BE ON THIS GITHUB REPO: https://github.com/nenam1607/devcraft

The best thing? Devcraft is 100% free and open source and takes up VERY little space on your computer. Usually, Devcraft versions take up at least 25-30 MB, depending on the amount of content it has.
The Devcraft community subreddit is r/Devcraft, where you could suggest, show off, and ask questions. Devcraft is interested in fostering a warm and wholesome community that always enlightens the project.

FAQ and Q&A
Q: Are you able to modify Devcraft or create mods?
A: Yes. You can modify the assets and source code of Devcraft, as long as it's free, open source, and follows LGPL-v3 licensing rules (See usage conditions for more info.)
Q: If I suggest something, will it get added?
A: It is not 100% guaranteed that your suggestion to the Devcraft project, whether you post it on r/Devcraft or the community discussion on the game's itch.io page, will get added. I usually take suggestions through a priority list. If your suggestion is high-priority, it will most likely get added. On the other hand, if it is low priority, it will most likely not get added.
Q: Will Devcraft's development 'ever end'?
A: Not for the next 5 or so years. Devcraft's development will end when I no longer have any motivation for the project, which won't be for a very, very long time. Until then, enjoy playing Devcraft!
